Devin's started swimming class!

Here are the 4 boys having fun kicking their feet. Below is Devin trying to dive for rings. He did not have to go under water much because they were on the stairs. You know what Devin did? He started picking them up with his toes instead so he did not have to under water!

Jarom's room makeover!

Here is Jarom's room before I painted and put new curtains up. The walls were 3 different colors, you can see it on the 2nd picture. The curtains were like from the 60's!!

The last 3 pictures are after, I painted the walls a tan color. I found these curtains for only 5.99 euro which is cheap. I had to sew them a little to fit these windows, but I had a helper that loved pushing down the pedal so I could sew.

Jarom crawling

I was trying to video tape Jame crawling, but you can never get on tape very well. Here is a cute video but not much crawling. He does better! He is moving all the way into another room now, crazy!

Tagged!!

Well, my friend Heidi tagged me and my assignment was to take ten photos right away. I do not know if I can think of ten places, but here are some.
Here is Devin watching TV late while Jarom is already in bed.

My Gardenia I just bought and it smells so good! And another plant I bought.

My winter Garden area. I still have boxes!! Kids, Kids, Kids They will not let me do to much unpacking!

Here is my downstairs bathroom

Here is my messing laundry in the basement.

Jarom likes his toes!

On our walk today, Jarom was really liking his toes. I thought it was cute, so I took a picture. It's something I can show him when he is grown. Devin never played with his toes, so I had to share it.

Our daily walks

Here are some of my favorite sights we see when Devin, Jarom, and I go on walks around our town. The first pictures is the old city wall that surrounded the city long time ago. Second pictures, there is a little stream that runs around the town which I love. It remindes me of Tenn. Third pictures is Devin in the wheat fields. The land is so nice here, at least in the summer!!

First Tooth

Jarom has finally got his first tooth. Maybe that is why he has been getting up every 2 hrs at night. He has a sleepy mommy!

Jarom is sitting up!

Jarom is sitting up all by himself now. He is still not a stable as I would like, so I keep my arms around him just in case. He got him 6 month old shots today, which he did not like of course. He is finally taking a nap, so I can blog!!

Fest in Gerolzhofen

This weekend a very little festival came to our home town. This was the only ride they had for kids, but it was fun and something to do for an evening. They had live music and food.

Picking up Apples!

Well, I told Devin I would give him a penny for every fallen apple on the ground! We counted all his apples and he got over 500 apples! Most of them were small before they started growing. Devin sure did like earning money!

Jarom is sick!

Jarom finally took a nap in the evening and woke up throwing up everywhere over and over again. How nice! My first day with Dane gone and Jarom is sick :(

Trip to Wurzburg!

Last Friday I went on a trip with a class for newcomers to Wurzburg which is about 30 min from me. It was nice with lots of history. The City was completly distroyed in WW II. I have a picture of some bombs used during that time. Can you understand what the sign saids? This is how it is everywhere I go! I can not understand German! Also a picture inside a church and a palace where the royals lived and a pretty white and peach building with lots of wood work.

New calling answer!!

One person got it right, guessing my new calling (Jodi). Crazy has it sounds, I am the new Relief Society Pres!!! I really do not think it has hit me yet. I am sure Melody (sister-in-law) fell out of her chair when I told her. I will need everyone's prayers. I am sure this will keep me busy while Dane will be deployed. It will be a blessing in my life to serve these sisters.

Here are some of the things we did at the Army 4th July thing. We only stayed there for a couple of hours and then we were ready to go home. It was fun!

Company party!

Today we had a party with Dane's company at work. Devin got to get up early (5:30 am) and go to PT (run) at Daddies work. They did a 2 mile run. More than half way through Devin was on Dane's shoulders! They gave bids for the pie throwing contest. People were paying $80-$100 to throw a pie at anyone in the Company. Some people were shouting Dane's name, but they only had 5 pies. He got lucky!

Guess What????

I like this guessing game lately. What calling did I just get at church? Lets see who gets it right!

Ready for the winter!

Well, we got our wood for the winter. Hopefully it will be enough for all winter. We have heaters in each room, but it uses oil to run the heaters. Everyone know how expensive oil is now-a-days. The wood stove should be cheaper. We will see how it goes!
