Doctors appt

So I went to the baby doctor today. I just wish I could have an appt without any problems. Here in Germany, they do a stress test every appt (weird). Well this time I happen to have a contraction during that test which the doctor did not like. I really think the contractions are just the fake contractions (braxton hicks contractions). I just to do know if Germany doctors are just overly cautious or what. I also have low Iron which I had my last pregnancy. So doctors orders, no hard work and no picking up heavy things. Does a 30lb toddler count that does not go where he should go? With all this, now I have to go back in a week. It is hard to find someone to watch Jarom for all these appts. I just really do not like going to the doctors EVERY WEEK for every little thing!

Saturday fun!

Saturday morning was a day of fun. Dane had to work, so he missed all the fun. They had a Kinder fest for the kids at the childcare place. We only got to spend about an hour there because we had Devin's space derby first. Here is some of their fun at the fest.

Devin was so excited he got a badge and certificate. He felt special and made it all worth going. For some reason, he did not want to go. Sometimes you just have to push kids to have fun!

Devin and his space derby

Can you see his blue space derby on the line?
Dane has been wanting to get these little German shorts for a long time, but they are so much money. Well he found some for only 15 euros, so we got them. I thought they were for Jarom, but it seems they fit Devin.

Earth Day!

Today was Earth day and the Army community had lots of stuff to do in front of the PX. Devin's class had a field trip there to learn all about recycling and more. They planted plants and seeds, made a birds nest and more.

The best part of it for me was the flea market as part of it, to recycle our stuff! I found so much stuff I needed for the boys, mostly clothes. My greatest fine was a double stroller (almost new) for $20.00. It is really hard to find clothes and other things here in Germany. Most people order stuff online, but I try not to do that. Boys are so dirty and messing on clothes, so when I can get nice clothes for 25 cents, I'm happy!
I just love a great deal!

Spring break week!

This week was Devin's Spring Break, so we tried to stay busy. I think we went to the PX many times looking for Devin's favorite toy, Bakugans (little things that transform into a ball)!! He saids he is a collector now! Jarom even likes them, so it works out good.
One thing we did is getting his space derby ready for next weekend race. I have never heard of space derby before, but it looks fun. They race the rocket ship on fish wire.
We made crystals!

I am 6 months pregnant now and really showing. People actually thinks I am pregnant now and not just gaining weight. I still have good and bad days. My back is starting to make me feel like I am in my 80's! I am having fun looking through the baby clothes and getting things ready.

Still no Peanuts for Devin!

Ever since Devin was like one years old, we have realized Devin can not have some nuts. We had to take him to the Hospital 2 times under the age of 2. On Monday night, Devin comes to me with some chololate covered peanuts I had in the kitchen which came from family while here. He asked, "does this have peanuts?" I told him, yes! He looked at me like I was crazy and then asked me again, "does this have peanuts?" Again I said yes, why? He said because I ate one!!!!! He started to panic and was scared. Nothing happened to him like before, so I thought maybe he out grew it. Well he started to feel bad when going to sleep, so I let him sleep on the floor in our room just so I could keep an eye on him. About an hour later, I hear him throwing up everywhere over and over! I tried to clean it up, but since pregnant I had to ask Dane for help. After this Devin's nose was really stuffy and he acted like he was having trouble breathing. I was worried. Dane felt like he was okay since he just cleaned out his entire stomach, but I asked him to give Devin a blessing anyways. Afterwards, Devin calmed down and was breathing better and went to sleep. I am so thankful to have the priesthood in my home and receive the blessing from it.

Visit to the Zoo

On Friday, last day my family was here, we went to the Nurnberg Zoo. It turned out to have wonderful weather and a good day, but I was tired by the time we got home. I had to take a picture of Devin pulling Dane until Devin realized he needed to be pulled.
I think Dane fit right in with the Zoo animals or better yet the kids!

Jarom liked the Zebras

I liked the polar bear

The Zoo had lots of hill, and Dane really wanted a picture of me in the wagon!

I found out having the harness on Jarom and letting Dane hold it was a great way for Dane to keep track of Jarom. I will have to do that again.
I want to thank my family for coming all the way over here. It is a very long trip and takes a lot out of you but worth it. We will miss you.

Congrates to Dane!

So Dane went to work today for a short time. When he came home, he handed me an envelope with this straight face. I was like, "is this a speeding ticket"? I could see it was from his work since that is how you get your tickets here in Germany, through your commander. I opened it up and it says Congradulations, Dane Nichols, for being selected to be promoted for Captain! How exciting! We had to go get ice cream to celebrate!

Lot of pictures

We went to Garmisch this weekend. We did a horse carriage ride!
We went to a King Ludwig II 's palace which had a grotto (cave). Here is a picture of it.

backyard of the Palace

King's bed, the room was very big and pretty

Outside the palace

I do not know what Devin was thinking in this picture!
The resort we were at had a Easter egg hunt, so the kids had a blast!

In Munich, we eat at the Haufbrauhaus (which is very famous/tourist place)
They played music for everyone.

Munich

At 12:00 noon the little people dance around to music.

We saw the crown jewels of Munich at the Residence!

Down town Garmisch, Jarom was not happy getting on the cow!

Nice park outside our Post in Graf

We went to the Army Museum here in Graf, Elvis was here!
