First Day of 1st grade!

Today was Devin's first day of school, how exciting for me! You can tell Devin was not excited. I had to force him to let me take a picture. Not a good morning!

As we met his teacher and got into his classroom, he was much better.

My weekend Adventure to say the least!

This week was our ward Freiberg Temple trip (First Temple in Germany). They decided to stay overnight in Augustusberg, Germany Castle. Good thing we had a GPS, or we would have never found it.

They had a bird show at the castle, so we went. I did not realize how they let the bird fly so close to us. Of course, they had to come up to us speaking German about something wrong we were doing. I found out afterwards, Devin was sticking up his finger at the bird which could have been mistaken as lunch for the birds. English PLEASE!!!

I also did not realize we would have to share our room in a 12 person room! That went really well with my wild children!

Thank you for playgrounds. I needed a break!

Freiburg Germany, Temple

Anyone that knows my Devin, knows he is a handful. He did not let me down this weekend by far. He had to live up to it. No more future trips for me until Dane gets home. I need help! Two kids going in opposite directions, there is just so much I can handle before I go crazy! I think I did this weekend.

Jarom and Trains

Jarom has really followed Devin in the love of trains. We got a Thomas the Train movie from the Library, the cover makes noise. Jarom loved it.

Dane emailed me this picture he made off the computer. He took photos and turned them into drawings. So neat! He is a keeper!

Doctor Visits

I feel like I have almost lived at the clinic here this week. Jarom had his well baby check up, and he is 29 lbs! I went to the doctor because I have this pain in my stomach area for a while now. The doctor at first thought it was my Appendix since it is painful when she pushed on it. After waiting for my blood results and 2 appts later, everything was fine. So now the doctor does not know what is wrong with me. Isn't that reassuring? So now I have more doctor appts next week and maybe ultrasound, sounds fun :( P.S. she did a pregnancy test and it is negative if you thought that was the reason your wrong!

I am ready for school to start. I am not a good entertainer like Daddy! Devin asked me about 100 times a day, "What can we do mommy?"

100 days till I have my husband back home! So close but yet so far!

New addition to our family

Devin has been wanting a pet, but I felt like I have enough on my plate. I still wanted to give Devin something that is EASY and MIGHT help him be more gentle. So we got a hampster, and he really likes it. It has really helped him be more responsible.
