Before we left for vacation, I had to do a lot of pouting to get Dane into his Dress Blues for our family photos. Here are some.

We are back, here is Rome, Italy

We are finally back, and I am so happy to be home! I missed eating my food and having laundry done. Here are some pictures of our fews days in Rome before our cruise. I really did not care much for Rome, very dirty. At one point a taxi driver refused to take us to our hotel which was 10 blocks away. They told us to walk with all our bags and kids. I was not happy, but we walked. I lost all feels for taxi drivers after that until the end of our trip. We, as in someone in our family, left our bag with the kids and my passports in a taxi driver car. With no faith they will return our bag, I paniced! This was the night before we were expected to fly back home! First thing Dane said, lets say a prayer. My testimony of the priesthood has grown so much. Dane went outside our hotel and waited for the taxi driver to return. After what seemed to be 1 hour, I walked outside to tell Dane to come inside, no hope. As I got out to see him by the road, there was the taxi driver with our bag with everything in it giving it to Dane. I just started to cry! Dane offered him 20 euros for bring it back, and he refused it. There are good people out there! I am really thankful to have Dane in my life to show me these little priesthood miracles. It is hard to explain this all in a blog, but I hope you understand. Here are some pictures.

Still on vacation!

We are at Rhodes, Greece today on our cruise. We have had lots of stressfull and fun times so far. I do not recommend Costa Cruise line to anyone. That is all I have to say about that, more will come! Bad customer service! We will be back in about a week, so see will post tons of picture then.

Some updates!

What else do you do after Thanksgiving besides shopping? Put up Christmas tree and stuff! Of course we did this while Jarom took a nap. Here he is the first time he saw it. He ran to pull off the lights! I told him NO NO, and he was good after that!
Before Dane left for Iraq, I really wanted to get family photos with him in his "Dress Blues!" I was so excited to get them done Friday. I had Devin take a photo afterwards at home for my "Blog!"

Devin has had a loose tooth for a while now. Once daddy hear about it, he convinced Devin to let him take it out. Daddy won! The tooth fairy gave him $2.00!

7 days till my mom comes here to Germany
9 days till we leave for our wonderful mediterranean cruise!
Times goes by a lot faster when your husband is home!

Our Busy life so far....

Oh how my life has changed, for the good! Daddy sure does bring life into our normal boring life. We finally had Daddy's famous milkshakes we have not had in over a year. I don't think I even got the blender down, ha ha!

Devin reminded us everyday about making milkshakes! He was finally happy!
Look at those nice flowers Daddy got Mommy!
We also have the music back into our home! Jarom just did not want to stay still there.
I had an Relief Society activity Saturday with lots of crafts. We learn how to make a Christmas wreath out of bread and how to braid these rolls.

Devin had a pack meeting and gave his hero an award "Daddy"
He also got his soccer and music belt loop.

Random pictures

With Tiger cubs, we watched the soldiers take down the American flag and learned how to fold the flag. This is at 5:00 and already this dark. I do not like that!
Boys saluting to the flag

A VERY BAD HABBIT! You can see from Jaroms face that he should not be eating in the living room!
We went to visit our landlord's house. They just made this wonder pond. Can you tell they must love ponds since we have 2 in our yard? It was very nice.

Still no Dane :(

Is it time yet?

We are ready for you!!
This is NOT Dane's group, but you get the idea. I just really liked this photo from another group already home. It makes me feel like he will be coming closer soon.
P.S. Family- Jarom is sick, little fever and will not eat or drink this morning. He just wants to sleep. Very weird for an active 22 month old not moving and just laying there in my arms. Keep him in your prayers.

No news

Still no husband here. It will still be a little bit! It is a little weird seeing all these husbands home now with their wives. I have to admit I am a little jealous! I saw one couple today, and the husband opened the car door for her. She got a big surprised face when he did that for her. I do not know this couple, but I thought it was cute to see the surprises of dating again! Mine will come soon.

Rainbows

I do not remember ever seeing such a bright rainbow before today. It rained here for like 1 min and then we saw this wonderful rainbow. The picture just don't show how bright it was.
The Fall brings leaves and leaves and fun for kids!

Halloween again

We sure have celebrated Halloween this year. What else is there to do when Daddy isn't home? Daddy is the entertainer!
One of our stops was our Free bowling-anyone in costume! Devin only!!
Everyone love Thomas the Train. Jarom kept saying, "choo choo!" or more like, "oo oo". I thought people would like the Hulk better, but I was wrong.
Friday we had a ward primary activity which was fun!
Show those teeth, Jarom! You can see I had to hold him still just to take a picture. He is always on the move! Note that big bump on his forehead.
Find the eye balls in the noodles!

It just isn't FAIR!

I took the countdown off my blog because who knows when Dane will be home. Now it has changed and he is the LAST GROUP to come home! It's just not FAIR! He was the first to go and the last to come back. Of course I had to hear this like days before I was expecting him home. I had to wait overnight before I posted this post because I would have said some mean things about the Army last night, but I have cooled off. I guess I should listen to the other Army wives when they say, "I believe it when I see my husband and pick him up." So I have stopped counting the days because it is to hard to count! I'm just grumpy!

Special night for Devin- Bobcat Badge!

Thursday night was Devin's first night to get a badge in front of everyone. He got his Bobcat Badge for cub scouts. This is the first badge you have to get to get started. We also had to do a song or skit in front of everyone. We picked a song, "Going on a Bear Hunt." It was fun and I think our song was the best.

Parents promise to help their child.
Before they got their badge,we painted their faces. Each color stands for something. On the forehead is the bobcat pawl.

Jarom

Here is a cute video of Jarom doing Ring Around the Rosie! We just taught him the song, and he loved it. It is cute to hear him try to sing it and do it by himself. You can see just a little bit of my crazy kids near the end. They just feed off each other.

Full Saturday of Halloween fun!

Saturday we had our Battalion Halloween party. I helped plan the event, so I spent lots of time there helping. Jarom liked this game!
This was the best car for the Truck N Treat! That was a real person in there. The kids were scared! Jarom did not like him AT ALL!

We had to good turn out of people coming and it was a blast!

Friday Devin's school had a fun Harvest festival.
pumpkin bowling

This was the best picture I could get of them both in the picture. Jarom saw the pumpkins and went crazy! I had to get help from someone to keep him still for a moment.
Friday I learned something new about Jarom. As you can see a little in his eyes in the above picture. Jarom can not have a peanut butter garnola bar! This picture was over 8 hours later, so you can image how he looked before, not pretty! He had swollen eyes and hives but the meds I had at home helped. I would have taken him to the doctor if I was living in the States but not Germany. If you have any problem, they keep you in the Hospital for days. Since I have some experience with Devin and peanuts, I knew I could handle it. He was acting fine and breathing good.
Now I know NO PEANUTS in my house!
