Testimony of Prayer

My Step father, Bronko Baltich, has not been doing well, in and out of the Hospital. He is 86 years old, and his heart was just failing. My mother has been praying he would stay on earth until I arrived in Florida June 26. On June 27, we had to call 911 to take Bronko to the Hospital, and his heart stopped early the next morning Wow, my mom's prayers were answered for us to come and say good bye and help. What a great testimony builder! We did an American Red Cross message to Dane in Iraq, and he is coming on emergency leave for the funeral. What a great blessing!

Florida here we come!

Well, very early in the morning we will start our 24 hour journey back to the US!!! I think it is sinking in that I will be up for 24 hours traveling! No wonder I was having such a hard time last time. It takes 2 hours from our house to get to the Airport, but we have to leave early in case of traffic (which is very common here). On International flights, you have to board the airplane 1 hour early, like the 9 hour flight is not long enough, ha ha! Our 5 hour layover in Detroit was the hard part last time! Jarom is starting to be a handful! Just being with my family makes this ALL WITH IT!!

Europe Beaches

Hard to see in the picture, but a very dirty boy at the little beach here!

Europe's beaches are a little different than Florida. It looks like mud almost. Not used to it yet! I like white sandy beaches better.

3 days and we are in Florida!

Before and After

Well, I think I have finally close to being done with my front yard and wanted to show off Dane's, mine, and yes Devin helped. With lots of sweat, many bags of mulch, and many hours, it is done!
Before Picture!!
After picture! It looks so much cleaner!

I had to go buy bricks to go around the front because Devin thought he could ride his bike through there and make a mess!

6 days and we are in Florida,
Heat (not looking forward to that part)!

German playgrounds!!

This is the best foot picture I could take with active boys. I told Jarom, "lets see your toes" so here he is showing us his toes!

I thought it would be fun to show you some of the German playgrounds they have here. They are different.

Below is some kind of jungle course maybe for older people. I am not sure.

We think this is how you play on this one.
We have these in the US!

I even got on the trampoline.
I had to show you Jarom's new monkey backpack lesh thing.

This is what Europe considers a sandy beach.

On these last 2 I had to take a video, so you could see how they work or how we think they work.

It keeps going and going and going!

Full Saturday

Since Devin is out of school now, I have to keep him busy or he drives me crazy. He has so much energy, and I need to get some of it out. One thing we did today is go swimming at out local swim place. I am not sure I will bring Devin there again because he acted like he forgot how to listen.
Jarom loved his little swim area. He is really starting to love big legos which they had in the pool.
We also went to a little kid play park (a very little Disney type) called MarchenWald. It was about 1 hour from our house. Here are some pictures.

Friday we went to a local Strawberry picking farm. I was very surprised how well Jarom helped.
Never pick Strawberries with a plastic bag!

We had fun. I have about 2 cookie sheets full of strawberries I froze as just our leftovers.

Bad Kissingen, Germany

I think this might have been Jarom's first time. Can you tell he loved it with those big eyes?
I went on a little trip (30 min) to Bad Kissingen, Germany on Monday.
It is known for its popular wellness/ spa centers.

Every town has a church!
These duck looking flowers remided me of Disney. Makes me home sick!

17 days till we are in Florida! That's coming fast!

WEE-EIB (Kid Army)

Today, Saturday, we went to WEE-EIB! You never really know all the names for the Army, but it has something to do with the type of training the soldiers have to do. WEE, for little ones, had their training today.

Devin getting ready for the road march (with fake guns of course).

Devin GI Joe here ready to shoot a gun for the Grenade Assualt Course

Confidence Course (Devin at the tires)

Face Camo application (They did not tell you how hard it is to get that stuff off the face)

Here is a video of Devin and others doing there Drill and Ceremony. This is the end as they walk off.

Devin also did a Physical Fitness Test and did great at the push-ups and sit-ups.

I am not made for the ARMY!

Today we had our Spouses Shoot-Out! Here I am ready!
We did paintball

1.25 Mile Road March (with holding 70 lbs of stuff part of the way)
Can you tell I was tired!

I am 4th from the left, near the middle
After we finished paintball. I did get hit and it hurts!

My battle wounds from paintball!

We also did the M16 rifle, and I got 20/20 which only 5 people got in the Battalion. We had a shoot off again, but I did not do as well. It was a fun day and I am tired. I would not want to do this everyday. Not for me!!! More respect for a soldier!

Dream Vacation

One of my friends just went on a vacation to Santorini, Greece. These pictures have made me really want to go to Greece now. I hear everyone here go on vacation there, but never really understood why until now.

No big news

Well, today I got my hair cut!!! I told her to just trim my hair like last time to my shoulders. Well, I am afraid to show Dane because it is short. I do not even want to take a picture. It does not come close to touching my shoulders. What was she thinking? I think some hair people just like to chop it all off. At least it is summer time, and I know Florida will be hot! I have 5 month to grow it back out for Dane!
