My life in Germany

Here are some photos of my yard. I mowed the grass, and I just love how the yard looks all mowed and nice.
Dane pulled up all the lilly pads and plants growing in the pond last year. There are back!
Here are some of our gold fish we put in the big pond last year. We put 10 fish and now we have about 100 in the small and big pond. They survived the winter!

Here is another view of the yard looking at our house.

I love our yard and all the space to run.

I must be missing all those ACU uniforms around the house since my husband is gone.
I had to buy one for Devin so cute! The Brigade is having an event for kids June 6, so I wanted to buy an ACU uniform for him for the event. Some of the things they will be doing are face camo, one rope bridge, army physical fitness test, confidence course, WATER BALLOON ASSAULT COURSE (Devin will love), and road march. I hope he gets ALL his energy out that day!
Devin got his Baseball trophy Wednesday.
Less than a month we will be in Florida!

Jarom's a Big Boy!

Jarom thinks he is such a big boy sitting at the little kids table we have for Devin. The table should be outside, but since the winter I brought it inside to do crafts. Devin loves it to much to put it back outside.
The other day I asked Jarom to come give me a hug, and he actually did it. He ran to me with his arms wide open with a big smile. I was surprised he knew what a hug was. I guess I always just hug him and never ask for one. He made me feel loved!
These are those special moments were I am so thanksful I get to stay home with my children. I missed some of those moments with Devin while working and going to college all at the same time. I am thankful for every moment even the tantrums!!!

Jarom's Tantrums

I just thought I needed to show Dane what he is missing! Jarom got upset because I tried to give him chicken nuggets. After about 10-15 min tantrum, I tried to give him the chicken nuggets again and he was fine. I knew he wanted them, but maybe I just did not present them to him as he wanted. It's okay, Dane will be here the those terrible 2's.

Never thought you would see me doing this........

Learning how to use a M16 riffle/gun (whatever you want to call it).
A friend convinced me to sign up for a "Spouses Shoot-Out" Challenge June 5.
It includes Live Rifle Marsmanship, 1.25 Mile Road March, and Paintball Competition.
We had our riffle safety and training class today.
I know I have lost my mind, but I need some kind of spice in my life right now!~
See what wives do when their husbands leave.

Count Down

We have made it to the half way point of the deployment. We have 6 months to go which does not sound that wonderful to me but Dane thinks its great! I can not believe its only been 6 months, seems like eternity. I feel very lucky to be able to talk with him almost everyday. I count my blessings.

Music time!

Kids playing music

I found this great music set at an Army flea market. I knew Dane would be so happy to have more music in the house!! The kids have loved playing with it. I thought this video was to cute to not share.

Europa Park, Germany

Saturday we went on a trip to Germany's biggest theme park, Europa Park! It was very nice, but nothing compares to Disney to me. They do have a mouse theme like Disney.
We went on a ride that took us really high to see the park. Here is the view.

Trying to be like Epcot with the big ball!
View of the big children playground.
Devin has always loves these.
little boat ride.
Devin loves trains

Devin loved shooting the water gun.
It was a lot of fun, but we were very tired. Jarom woke up at 5:00 am and would not take a nap until 3:00 for only 45 min. Very long day for mommy!

No Computer :(

Well, my computer has some problems and will not work for me, so I am out of a computer for a while. I guess I will be coming to the library more to check my emails. I have to send my computer to my mom to see about getting it fixed, the down fall of living in Germany. I never realized how much a computer means to me until I do not have one. I feel so out of touch with family and life.

Some pictures

Here is Devin at his first baseball game. He seems to like it and the weather is perfect for it.
I seem to have many American flags all over my house because I have been collecting them to send to Iraq for Memorial Day. Jarom likes to take them from me for fun. You can see it in his face!

A new trend in our house! Jarom started it, cereal out of the container.
